I have previously posted this question but I wanted some more ideas? I have bought small jars to be filled for our wedding (with a spice or candy or whatever) and I am looking for a clever quote or saying to go on the tag along with our names and the wedding date?? If you are creative, please post an answer!!!
I want ideas on what to fill the jars with. We were thinking of putting some sort of spice into the jar and one suggestion I received was to put thyme in the jar and say: Love consists of Love, Patience and Thyme. Do you have any further ideas???

My aunt had little sachets of lavendar passed out to toss at us instead of rice or bird seed (which is a Roman custom). She tied the phrase Love Conquors All in latin tied to the bags.

Dear...what you you filling them with? If it's Hershey Kisses you could write...Kisses from the Bride & Groom... To give an appropriate answer you need to give us a better of understanding of what you're filling the jars with...I'll be checking back--I take great pride on being creative. hehe!

"Variety is the spice of love" would be a great one if you do fill them with spices. or you could say something like "thank you for adding some spice to our lives".

I did all my own decorations and favors for our wedding. Since my husband is Czech, and we spend a lot of time in Prague, I got votive candles and took a panaoramic picture of Prague and wrapped it around the holder. Everyone loved them. I also took clay pots and did decopage and filled them with dried flowers. They were very pretty. I put a dot on the bottom of one plate per table, whoever sat at that spot, got the pot with the flowers.. We kept the wedding very simple so there were no ballons, huge flower arrangements, etc. The hall where we had the reception was so pretty it didn't need much. And we got married outdoors on a cliff over the ocean, no decorations needed there either.

You can use quotes, parts of pems, etc to deposage with too. I used different patterened rice paper.
