Please help! I am getting married on the beach in Maui and my fiancee is nearly a foot taller than me. flip flops are out of the question due to the height difference. Does anyone know of a website where I might find bridal platforms or wedges so they dont sink in the sand like normal heels?

Maybe just ofr the pix you could have the photographer stand you on some kind of box? I'm sorry my suggestion isn't better, but I don't know of any kind of shoes like you mentioned, and regular heels just won't work in sand, as you already know.

I'm marrying on the beach in February, and we're not wearing shoes, but we're also only a few inches different from each other.

I don't suggest heels of any kinds because the sand is unpredictable and the last think you need is to fall during your wedding! Just go barefoot, who cares if he's a foot taller than you are.

im 5'1 and my bf is 5'11 almost 6' and i plan on everyone going barefoot for my beach wedding...maybe for pictures, i'll do some with shoes...but for the ceremony and reception...im going barefoot...much easier on the feet than heels ...i love being short!

Shoe show had some sand colored wedges. I dont know if they still have them or not.
You could also try DSW shoes.
