You can wear those, sure. I would suggest you have your date drop you at the door where ever you go. I would also suggest you bring a bag with a second pair of shoes just in case.

I've done this. There used to be a thing about not wearing open-toed shoes in the winter, but now everyone does it.Since it's winter, you'll want to wear hose/nylons.
