You should probably wear a tie with the shirt. Something to match the pants, like a dark gray tie, with a dark purple or black stripe. Normally evening weddings require a jacket for the ceremony, which you can take off during the reception. It sounds fine, though.

you should really dress more formal to a wedding...but its your choice, go for it
