Default Would you be a barefoot bridesmaid in a wedding where the bride wears shoes?

At the bride/grooms request

I guess if the bride wants you to, but quite frankly that is stupid. Unless they are getting married on a beach, I would wear shoes. What is their reasoning? What style of wedding is it?
