Wedding Reception in a Church!?

I just wanted ideas from individuals who have had their wedding reception in the banquet hall of the Church. The church we are having our Vow Renewal Wedding Reception in is very big, high ceilings, stage and lots of space, I am really only having about 40-50 people, any ideas on how to decorate, or make nice. I am talented deprived, and on a tight budget, thank you in advance.
