Where's a good place to hold a wedding reception in St. Louis?

A majority of the popular reception destinations require membership, as St. Louis is heavy on private suburban clubs (St. Louis Country Club, Bellerive, Old Warson, Log Cabin Club). You might be able to book the Deer Creek Club and/or the University Club (not sure if these are private or not). As for hotel options, the Adam's Mark downtown is popular, as is the Ritz-Carlton (located in suburban Clayton). The Botanical garden is another option.
