Farmers Almanac is something you want to check. The colors turned really really late this year but better too early than after the leaves have already fallen and it starts to get grey.

You want to look for historic sites, farms, and places that have a barn or alternate indoor venue. Tent on standby works too but generators and bathrooms become a consideration when creating a venue from scratch.

Set up is another consideration. You may want to get a DOC or someone who has an eye for the big picture. Keeping you on time is important too.

Give your photograper the time they need to get their job done well for you and still let you enjoy your day.

Your, make up artist, officiant and ceremony musicians. They are all rented for a time slot and schedule more than one wedding in a day. Be on time so they don't have to leave without doing whay you have paid them to do.

(believe it or not I had a bride who was an hour and a half late. I had to announce "Ladies and gentlemen the time myself and the chapel have been rented for has now come and gone, but with any luck everything is all right and I'll see you later at the reception!" I went to my next wedding then back to where their reception was.)

If you have a 40k 5 hour event, starting a half hour late is 4 grand of party that you have paid for that your not getting no because the time was spent milling about waiting.
