I don't think it is skimpy. It is beautiful! If you are having trouble staying "put" up top - ask a bridal boutique for something they can use to keep them in place - sometimes bridal boutiques will offer advice on how to keep from falling out. Good luck

I don't think it would be problem unless you get a pushup bra with too much padding, since it sits lowers on your bust. However, if you are having your ceremony in a church, run it by your officiant because they might request that you have something (like a shawl or wrap) on you while in the church. It is not low, but your officant/place of ceremony might not agree.

I agree with your mom. More traditional would have been better. You can find the same style of empire dress with nice straps, less boob.
