I am making invitations for my friends wedding. They want me to write some thing funny instead of the traditional way. I am pretty much stuck.

Maybe find some love poems at the library? or some love sonnets by shakespeare?

Here are a few lines that might be nice:

with joyous hearts
we invite you to attend
the wedding of

You are invited to a celebration
of the beginning of our new life together
as we are united as husband and wife

Together with our parents we invite you
to share our joy and support our love
as we are exchange vows and are united
in the commitment of marriage

perhaps you can write something funny about the couple - what others don't know about them.... just make sure they don't end up being ridiculed.

well, thats a good one! funny or not, i dont know, well the best way to write down a funny invitation would be write something about you, some thing about the friends, and something about what ever the most fn-filled thing you have done with them
