I am from England and am getting married in America. Do you have any good ideas for some real English wedding favors? I don't want to spend a lot of money on them, so i don;t mind assembling them myself.

I love the English tea idea.

I may get a thumbs down...but Cadbury chocolate. I'm American with a sister in law from England and her parents send her Cadbury chocolate in packages all the time. I love it! You can't really find it in America. Unless it's easter time and you get the Cadbury eggs. But it doesn't taste the same. If you've had American chocolate you know what I'm talking about.

People really like edible favors. A lot of favors get left behind at weddings or thrown away. But people seem to really enjoy the edible ones. So some chocolate truffles, fudge etc would be good. But buy it in England and bring it with you, it will probably be a real treat for American guests who've never tasted English treats like that, made the right way hehe

Another thing her parents send that I love but can't be found around here: Jammie Dodgers. With the little heart cut in the top they would make cute favors.

You could put the jammie dodgers or chocolate treats in those little treat boxes. That would be nice...
