Default Inexpenisve wedding venues in San Diego?

I want to get married in san diego where I grew up. The problem is that we are on a tight budget. I have a huge family and will have about 150 people. Anyone know of a nice location where we can bring our own alcohol?

The San Diego Zoo is nice. You can put up a tent in the picnic table area. Also, the children can view the animals so they won't get bored. You can have elephant rides for the kids too. It could be lovely.

atop the natural history museum, my co worker had her reception there after her wedding in the old chappel just down the street (mission dist.), it was so beautiful, and since they paid for it all themselves I'd say it couldn't have been too expensive. But it depends on the time of the year...

The San Diego Zoo would be nice. BUT its 80 dollars per person lol.

I'm holding mine at Marina Village! Its very nice, water front, next to the Marina. You can bring in your OWN alcohol and caterer. There are very few restrictions there. The rooms range from 325 dollars-2,500 dollars depending on what day, and the size of room you'll need.

GOOD LUCK!

That's a tough one - 150 people, tight budget & own booze. You would be best to try community centers and parks and rec. halls, I would think... Look through this list - http://www.weddingcompass.com/DisplaySearchResults.cfm?STYPE=Location&ByCounty=S an%20Diego&ByGuests=200&PAGE=2&Entries=50
and also http://www.sandiego.gov/park-and-recreation/general-info/permits.shtml
