and maybe we could stand under something like this instead of a regular arch, or should we just go with a simple arch. do you guys think this is pretty or oo over the top?

our space will look like this, i will be drop of by a horse and carriage. will i have too much decorations? give me some ideas please.

this is how the garden looks
or maybe a simple arch like this.
This is the type of arch that i really want. But idont want it to look too over the top crowarded. i want the attention on us. not the decorations.
My mom say we should just leave the place plain and let nature show its real beauty but i think it looks too empty

i LOVE the flower balls, very nice. the scenery is beautiful on it's own, i think the first arch would be way too much for that, the second one is better. keep it simple, less is more.

I agree with your mother that the arch is way too over the top. If you would like an arch I would look for one that is plain and add your own decorations to it, like ivy or your flowers. Your wedding location is beautiful, I don't think you will need to decorate very much. I really like the pomander balls. Are you going to have them at tables or down the aisle. I personally like down the aisle. Good luck with your wedding, i'm sure it will turn out beautifully, no matter what you decide.

Oh I do not like that last arch with the fake columns... Im with your mom on this one! But I love your setting, it is gorgeous. You should only do a few points of interest, otherwise all your "decorations" will be competing and it wont be elegant. I think the aisle balls, and the horse & carriage is just right.
If you absolutely must have an arch, make it be wood with a few flowers just at the top, something very simple.

What about something like this that allows for a lot of flowers? Then you could hang one of those flower balls from the center? I think that would look amazing.

I think the arch you chose is a bit much for an outside wedding, but it wouldn't look horrible. Remember those flower balls are going to be quite pricey........so I hope you have that planned in the budget.

All of your ideas are great. The flower ball is really nice your future husband has great taste. The decoration you want near the alter is very nice. Maybe you can get someone to make an arch for you and add some flower balls on the arch.

I agree with your mother. The whole advantage to an outside wedding is it is already beautiful. I had mine outside just for the fact that I wouldn't have to spend any extra money on decorations. We got married in front of a fountain, so we did have a floral arrangement fixed inside the fountain. I would keep it simple, maybe do a couple of pillars with a floral arrangement on them at the alter and petals down the aisle. Other than that, I don't think the extra stuff is necessary.
