They are going to be used at my wedding reception for a wedding wishes vase. I need some simple ideas on how to decorate them. I thought about doing something with ribbon. Any ideas? Let me know

keep it simple and elegant...ribbon is great for this. You can tie a bow and let the strings flow down or wrap it like a ballet slipper cris-crossing the ribbon and tying in a bow. use drops of hot glue to secure. You could also try to stain the glass or get a silver label that you can attach that has your names and the date engraved.

Add a band of ribbon around the top and then purchase some glass etching chemicals at your local hobby store, some stencils with a lettering style you like and stencil "Wishes" and then your last initial under the word wishes. It will be classy without be tacky. If you're not comfortable with the etching chemicals, check with a local engraving shop, many times they can engrave things you wouldn't think they could.
