Prompted by my housemate who knows exactly what she wants, whereas i've never thought that deeply about it. If you could have your dream wedding how would it go, and what would you have there?

I'm 31, in a steady relationship with a man I hope to marry one day, but in all honesty I hadn't ever spent much time thinking about my wedding day until recently. Now I know that if we do get married I only want a small wedding. I don't want a big church wedding and a hotel reception as I feel they're all the same. I'd like to get married and then have a delicious meal in a good restaurant and then maybe head somewhere else for dancing or home for a party. Another thing I wouldn't mind doing is getting married in a park in the evening - early summer with lots of beautiful flowers around us and tons of candles lighting the way (but then again, I live in cold, rainy Ireland so that's probably only a pipedream). Something different to the usual, typical wedding so many of us have to go to. I'll have to wait to see if he ever asks me though, before I start planning it properly.

Sort of... I know that I and my partner (assuming I ever find one) will be dressed in full Starfleet uniform, the grey one from the most recent films staring the Next Generation crew.

I did, it came true. I always day dreamed about having my wedding on a cliff over looking the ocean. I did back in 4/1999. It was beautiful.

i want to gat married in my back yard in a gazibo in the fall with the leaves blowing all around me.

I aint planned it, im onli 16 but i think u shud plan it with ur bf wen ur close to getin married, altho ive always wanted a summer wedding and a massive party that runs into the night so i can have fireworks at the end

yeah im with you..i hope to get married when im older..and i dont want to get a devorse like my parents did..But im not very sure how i would like my wedding to me..i hope the after party will be fun. but i havent really plained that far yet. And i dont plain on getting ready for a wedding until about 6-7 years
