My husband and i had bought some but we took them back because my former pastor was saying that we should not wear them?? we have had a lot of arguments over it...my mother-in-law gave me one of her special rings and i lost it I was wearing it as a wedding ring...my hubby does not have one. any info would be helpful. thanks!!!

I have been a Pentecostal for a long time and I have never heard an explanation of why some think wedding rings are wrong. Some Pentecostals do wear them, but if your pastor is against them and you want to be active in the church, then don't wear them to church. I still have my high school ring and I don't wear it, it won't fit now, but I am not going to get rid of it.

There are two references in the new testement where the apostles gave direction for woman not to where jewerly, but I can't find it for men. Jewerly is more a woman thing anyway. I wish I could remember where the scriptures are at. Hope this helps a little.
